Smooth Cayenne is one of the original African varieties and is rightly known as the “queen of pineapples”. It can easily be recognised by its slightly conical shape and tropical aroma. Its taste has a delicate balance of fruity sweetness and refreshing tartness, making it a favourite among connoisseurs. Due to the exclusivity of the product, we export it by air.
In Europe, sales of Smooth Cayenne are below those of Sweet Gold, even though Smooth Cayenne is still the variety that is cultivated the most around the world.
